World-Leading Hosting for Click4Assistance Live Chat Service
On Saturday 12th April, UK engineers from Click4Assistance visited one of the world’s most connected data centres to expand our existing infrastructure for greater resilience and reliability. The new housing is located in Harbour Exchange Square Campus within the heart of London, providing a staggering 3MW to over 400 major carriers.
To ensure minimum service disruption the move took place between 11pm on Saturday 12th April and 1am on Sunday 13th April.
Besides improved reliability and enhanced disaster-recovery, the new infrastructure adheres to the highest security standards and is actively monitored 24/7 by sensors covering electrical, mechanical, fire and leak detection systems. In the unlikely event of a power outage, a backup generator and uninterruptible power supply ensures that your live chat service remains operational.
The new infrastructure technology means we can perform future expansion without down-time to your live chat service
In terms of on-site security, extensive CCTV watches over security breach alarms, biometric checks and manual physical barriers. The datacentre follows strict protocols and is permanently manned, meaning that our UK-based team can access servers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The datacentre is designed to maximise energy efficiency for significant savings through water-based, fully-redundant air conditioning. At Click4Assistance we pass these savings on to our customers to provide a world-leading enterprise-level hosting solution without addition fees.
The datacentre is part of the TelecityGroup and has been awarded the following standards and certifications:
