Click4Assistance Raising Money for a Good Cause

Click4Assistance Raising Money for a Good Cause

The Click4Assistance team attended a fund raising event last Thursday in aid of the Pseudo Obstruction Research Trust. Over £1300 was raised on the night from ticket sales and competition prizes, and we are proud to continually support their fantastic work.

P.O.R.T, raise awareness and fund research into chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction, a rare but potentially life threatening illness. The charity was founded in 2006, by two families who have children who have died from (C.I.P.S.) or are still suffering from this illness.

Along with their patron, TV comedian Sean Lock, they have already raised over £16,000 this year through various events

Last month P.O.R.T was able to purchase a piece of ultra sound equipment not currently available on the NHS and are continuing to fund research into a newly discovered enzyme defect.

Please take a look at their website port-charity.org.uk, for more information on the charity and their fund raising events.

After having such a great time last week and at previous events, the team are already looking forward to attending the next one. You can check out our Facebook page which has some pictures from the night, you may even spot a few members of our team!
