In 2016, ABTA reported that three in ten people (29%) had planned to take a winter break,[3] Out of those three in ten, 25-34 year olds lead the way (36%) with the over 65s just behind with 33%.

In the latest release by the Office of National Statistics for 2015/2016 UK households are seeing an increase in disposable income.[4].
